Everything is starting to go downhill for him…
Rep. Matt Gaetz filed an ethics complaint on Wednesday against Adam Schiff, Chairman of the House Intelligence Committee, over his conduct of closed-door impeachment proceedings against President Donald Trump.
Gaetz, a member of the House Judiciary Committee, accused Schiff of distorting Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky’s telephone call to President Donald Trump on July 25 and of banning Congressional lawmakers from observing impeachment depositions. The Republican from Florida also accused the chair of the House intel panel of “lying to the public” about the now-debunked collusion between the 2016 Trump and Russia campaign. He wrote in the complaint that the California Democrat’s conduct violates House rules XI & XXIII.

“Nancy Pelosi’s impeachment resolution gives unprecedented power to the intelligence committee chairman, Adam Schiff, and that’s deeply troubling,” Gaetz told reports ahead of filing the complaint. “Schiff has proven in this process that he cannot adhere to the fundamental principles of fairness.”
