Power hungry judges need to be put in their place…
Recently, Shelley Luther went to court for opening her salon during city lockdown. Tucker Carlson decided to weigh in. He wondered how “this buffoon hack judge, really the most entitled person in Dallas” was able to put people in jail for violating a “decree,” not a law.
The judge, Eric Moye, gave Luther a seven day sentence in jail, and then decided to add seven more days because she would not say that her decision to open was “selfish.”
Luther said, “I have to disagree with you when you say that I’m selfish because feeding my kids is not selfish.”
Dan Patrick, Texas Lieutenant Governor, asked if he could take Luther’s place in jail, but was told he would not be able to.
Tucker asked, “Is that allowed? Is there a law in Texas that says you have to grovel before morons who are wearing robes? Is that part of the law there or is that something he made up from the bench?”
